Introductory Workshops in Thai Massage
We are pleased to announce that all courses and workshops are now running as usual.
We are following strict Covid-19 guidelines from the government and the Massage Training Institute to make sure that we are operating safely. We expect all attendees to adhere to our Covid-19 protocols when in the building, including the use of PPE when giving/receiving massage during workshops.
Thai Massage combines flowing sequences and focused acupressure techniques to create a unique healing therapy.
This form of bodywork uses sequences of soft tissue pressing, stretching and considered movement to strengthen joints, improve flexibility and maintain posture.
Sustained acupressure with palms, thumbs, elbows and feet is used to help remove blockages and free the tension inside knotted muscles.
Thai Massage promotes a high level of fitness and treats common problems including back pain, stiff neck, shoulder problems, sciatica, migraines.
As well as the many physical benefits including a more efficient immune system, Thai Massage encourages relaxation and improves the receiver’s energy levels. A truly healing experience.
Important – when you register to book on our system it will ask you if you’d like to receive notifications and reminders and account management information. Please tick ‘yes’ for this. It is not an opt-in for marketing – it allows the system to send you your booking confirmation, joining instructions and a reminder for your course, as well as notifications for waiting list places if you are on one. You will not receive these otherwise and people have on rare occasion missed their workshop because of this.
It will also ask you whether you want to receive newsletters and promotions. This is a marketing opt-in and please only say yes to this if you wish to receive emails about our courses.
This course is suitable for those who are new to massage as well as experienced practitioners.
The 2-day course is accompanied by a detailed booklet with coloured photographs containing all the material covered. Many of the techniques may be used in other forms of massage/table work.
